    This place of memory and remembrance is located in Colleville-sur-Mer, 20 km from your hotel in Bayeux...

    In an area of 70 hectares, on a hill overlooking Omaha Beach, discover the Omaha Beach American Cemetery.

    Situated along one of the landing beaches, Omaha Beach is a seaside resort with a heavy past.

    This place, charged with emotion, gathers the graves of 9 387 fallen soldiers. The chapel, the memorial and the garden of disappeared complete the site.

    During the Second World War, La Pointe du Hoc was a strategic point of the German fortifications on the Normandy coast. You will therefore see many huge blockhouses that have remained intact, witnesses of a sad and dark page of history.

    In Caen, visit L’Abbaye aux Hommes (the “ Abbey of Men ”), one of the two great abbeys of the region, with L’Abbaye aux Dames (the “ Abbey of Women ”). The two abbey churches contain the tombs of Queen Matilda and William the Conqueror.
